Awards are available to foreign scholars to offset costs associated with attending the 2021 IALE-North America virtual meeting, April 12-16, 2021. Since the IALE-NA 2021 conference will be virtual, we wish to expand our reach to support more participants from non-G7 countries while also increasing connections and representation from other IALE-NA countries (Mexico, Central America, and The Caribbean).

Foreign Scholar Virtual Travel Award
The North American Regional Association of the International Association for Landscape Ecology (IALE-North America) supports attendance of landscape ecologists from foreign countries and fosters international exchange about advances in landscape ecology at each annual meeting.

Foreign Scholar Virtual Travel Award recipients will receive funds to offset registration costs associated with attending the 2021 IALE-North America virtual meeting, April 12-16, 2021. To that end, we specifically encourage foreign scholars with traditionally underrepresented backgrounds to apply for this award.
