INPUT conference on Innovation in Urban and Regional Planning


The 11th INPUT conference on Innovation in Urban and Regional Planning, titled “INPUT2020 - Integrating Nature-Based Solutions in Planning Science and Practice”, will be held on 8 - 10 September 2021 in Catania (Italy), after the postponing of the conference due to the global pandemic situation.

INPUT2020 conference in Catania will focus on how to integrate Nature-Based Solutions in urban and regional planning processes and science and intends to gather international scholars in the field of urban and regional planning, civil engineering and architecture, ecology and social science, to build and consolidate the knowledge and evidence on Nature Based Solutions and to help an efficient implementation and replication of solutions.

INPUT 2020 will present the state of art of modelling approaches and innovations employed in urban and territorial planning, with a trans-disciplinary, boundary-less character to face the complexity of today socio-ecological systems and following a practice-oriented approach aimed to problem solving.

The call for papers is now open until 15th of March, 2021, and abstracts must be submitted through the INPUT2020 website to one of the proposed sessions.
