Early Career Scientists Program
11-13 September 2023
Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
Early Career Scientists (ECS) Program
Application deadline was 31 July 2023.
At this CARIN regional workshop we are initiating the CARIN Early Career Scientists (ECS) program. The purpose of the CARIN ECS program is to develop a cohort of ECS from Central Asia who are interested in understanding, characterizing, and modeling land systems in Central Asia.
The ECS training will take place over 2.5 days from Monday September 11 until mid-day Wednesday September 13. We plan two days of scientific talks and technical training followed by one-half day of professional skills development aimed to improve ECS success with publications in higher impact international journals. All instruction will be in English only; no simultaneous interpretation or translation of materials will be available. A key objective of the CARIN ECS program is to improve scientific communication in English.
